Cheesy Sourdough Buns

Needless to say, I love my sourdough breads and love to introduce them to the family.  It's healthy, sugar free, and usually made of olive oil, pack full of goodies.

This is a quick bread to go with the lamb chops:

Cheesy Sourdough Buns
• 250g Plain flour
• 1.5 tsp salt
• 50g sour dough starter
• 100ml water
• 55 ml olive oil
• ½ cup shredded tasty or cheddar cheese

Mix flour, salt, sourdough starter and water and half of olive oil to make a soft dough, knead for 15 minutes.
Drizzle 10ml olive oil over the dough in the container with lid, and let it set under cover.
Knead for another 5 minutes after 30 minutes and drizzle another 10ml olive oil
Do that again for another time with 30 minutes resting time.
Prove dough till double the size.
Shape dough into buns and brush on with a bit more olive oil and add a bit of cheese on top.

Bake in 230C oven for 15-20 minutes till ready when the crust start to harden and cheese melt!

and they are great to mop up the plates..
